Tiger Jeet Singh came to Canada in 1970 with only $6.00 in his pocket. Shortly after arriving, he met Frank Tunny of Maple Leaf Wrestling and found a career in the wrestling ring. Tiger's unrelenting work ethic, honesty and innovative approach quickly garnered a huge fan base and he soon became a top draw. He set the highest attendance record for any event at the famous Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada with 18,000 spectators inside and 10,000 fans being turned away outside. From his success in Canada, Tiger went on to reach iconic stature and become a household name in Japan, Asia and the Middle East.
While blazing a trail of innovation in wrestling and entertainment, Tiger also successfully invested in several businesses. He became an extraordinarily successful real estate developer, and entrepreneur, and branched out from this solid base into farming, hospitality, entertainment, and import/export.
A wrestling legend, humanitarian and philanthropist, Tiger Jeet Singh appreciates the fact that he has been tremendously blessed in being able to surpass all of his childhood dreams he once set for himself as a boy growing up in Punjab, India. His wrestling achievements and accolades would be far too many to list here, but to name a few, he has been crowned World Champion; he has a public school named after him; he has been appointed as an honorary police officer and as an ambassador for hospitals and cities throughout the world; he has raised millions of dollars for charity; and he has been honoured by various heads of state, a common theme for Tiger whenever he would visit any given country.
Although now semi-retired, he is still active as a philanthropist and as Chairman of the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation and the Tiger Jeet Singh Corporation; all while still being recognized globally as a respected business advisor and ambassador.
Now with a little more than $6.00 in his pocket, Tiger remains the same humble person he has always been and is always looking to extend his philanthropy to those less fortunate.
Tiger Jeet Singh Junior, or as he is more commonly known, Tiger Jr., has been an exceptional athlete and entrepreneur from the beginning. He has participated in many sports, but his true passion was basketball. It was his desire and commitment that earned him a starting position on Ontario's provincial basketball team. He also attracted the attention of top ranked colleges in the United States. After sustaining an injury at the age of 18, which would sideline him for one year, Tiger turned his focus to business. While his father, Tiger Jeet Singh, was away on wrestling tours he had left a fledgling import/export business with a partner. After learning that the business was suffering from mismanagement, his father asked Tiger Jr. to take over which he willingly and enthusiastically did. Soon, by applying the same work ethic he had forged while playing basketball, Tiger Jr. transformed the business and sold his first venture for a profit.
Upon returning back from his first trip to Japan, where he witnessed his father's iconic stature in the country of the rising sun, Tiger Jr. decided to follow in his father's wrestling footsteps. Again, putting aside any personal ambitions of his own, Tiger made it his goal to carry on his father's legacy with the hope that the sacrifices and achievements his father made would be remembered by future generations.
Tiger was recruited to the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and presented with a 10 year multi-million dollar contract. He applied his hard work, creativity and innovative thinking to the task and in a short time was winning the television ratings game by drawing in the largest number of viewers during his appearances. Tiger was blessed with and accepted the honour of having the stage name ‘Tiger Ali Singh' as a show of respect for his two heroes, his father, Tiger Jeet Singh and Mohammad Ali. Five years into his contract, Tiger's in-ring career was prematurely cut short after suffering his third concussion within a nine-month period.
The two Tigers then founded the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) and turned their focus to assisting the less fortunate. The foundation's core mandate is to promote inclusion and to date has raised over $15 million in combined donations and sponsorships in support of charities, women shelters, hospitals and public schools. Tiger Jr. has also been part of building his family's growing hospitality and real estate development businesses and has successfully branched out on his own into several other industries.
Today, Tiger applies the same 'values' he witnessed from his family - respect, trust and loyalty - in developing the reputation, and building the success, of the Tiger Jeet Singh Corporation (Tiger Corp). These values have been recognized in strategic partnerships with organizations such as Deloitte, Accenture and KPMG.
Rob Hans, the youngest of Tiger Jeet Singh's three sons, graduated with a BSM from Brock University in 1999. Shortly thereafter, he went on to earn a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Niagara College. Using this relevant knowledge, he joined the family hospitality business and shortly thereafter built a business acquiring struggling hotel properties and transforming them into profitable ventures and then selling them.
As the hospitality industry started seeing a downturn during the recession of 2008, Rob recognized the opportunity in land development and refocused his efforts in acquiring and re-developing property. This led him to attend the Ontario Real Estate College and earn his Real Estate Broker's license and launching his own realty business.
Rob is a proven leader and innovator in the real estate industry. He established a successful business in the luxury real estate market and was globally recognized as one of the top producers by Century 21 Canada. Rob is constantly giving back to the community through his board position and involvement with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation of which he has been an active member since its launch.
Rob has established a gold standard of quality known as the Tiger Standard by demanding the best from himself and his team, a laser focus with understanding his clients' needs and then meeting those needs. Rob has forged trusted relationships through honesty, loyalty and unrelenting commitment to hard work. Rob has expanded into finding creative, innovative and affordable housing solutions. Tiger Corp is proud to have Rob leading the Real Estate & Land Development division as a member of the executive team.

Garry Hans is the middle brother of the Tiger Jeet Singh trio. Garry graduated from Carleton University in the fall of 1995 with a combined Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law and Sociology/Anthropology. In the spring of the following year he was hired as the Director of Marketing with a rehabilitation corporation, with offices throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Wishing to continue with his education, Garry completed two additional diplomas at Sheridan College in Business Management and in Supervisory Studies. With a keen business sense and devotion to family, Garry added to his resume by achieving a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management in order that he might assist with the family's hospitality business.
In the spring of 2005 Garry completed the requirements of the Ontario Real Estate Association to become a licensed sales representative. He has created a large client-base, who, if interviewed, would echo the notion that “Hans is one that we can trust”. He takes time to understand his clients, building a family-type bond, and, to him, there is no greater connection. While the demand for his expertise is high, he has always practiced the notion of “quality over quantity”. As with rest of his family, and as with Tiger Corp., putting his clients first is the key to his success.

It should be noted that both of his grandfathers served in either the Military or the Police, so you can say it is “in his blood”. Within this field he has developed a recognizable talent for dealing with all levels of society to not only solve crime but also to help create a stronger bond with the citizens of his community. This bond with the community has been extended through Garry's countless hours devoted to his board position with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation and their many community charitable initiatives.
In combining his policing and real estate experience, Garry is recognized as one of the top negotiators in his field. His devotion, attention to detail and sincere honesty has made him a unique contributor to the success of Tiger Corp.

Doug turned his BAA in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University into a life-long passion for urban planning and land development. After graduation he joined the Regional Municipality of York as a Development Planner before joining and holding high ranking executive positions among Toronto's elite home building community. Doug has built a strong reputation of integrity and honesty within the home building and land development industry, which has led him to be a trusted advisor and Board Member with Tiger Corp.
